Mount Agung Trekking

Mount Agung is the highest volcano in Bali and it raises at about 3.142 m above the sea,it’s last eruption was in 1963. Trekking Mount Agung is a challenging experience which offers great rewards ,such as watching the sunrise from the top of the mountain and overlooking the planes of Bali and the summit of Mount Rinjani on lombok.You can reach the crater summit from pasar agung temple 4 hrs trek , from pasar agung temple to the real summit 5 hrs trek or from Besakih temple a more strenuous 6 hrs trek.

The trek start early in the morning in order to be at the summit to enjoy the extraordinary sunrise.After a good break on the top we slowly make our way down and keep enjoying the views which were shadowed by the night on our way up.

I, Ketut, am a well experienced guide, have climbed Mount Agung more than 900 times and can give you the best advice for a safe and enjoyable trek. I come and pick you up at your hotel and will drop you off at the place of your convenience. I provide you with the necessary equipment and foods, such as ; transport return, head lamp, gloves ,walking stick and foods such as ; breakfast ,hot coffee or tea.
